EDITORS NOTE The Ultimate Weapon is a novel that follows the continuing adventures of a group of androids, with particular focus on the story of Seymour and his wife, Ruby. Throughout the novel, Seymour searches for and wants to educate people on the concept of “agape,” which can roughly be thought of as pure and unconditional love and the key to ultimate happiness and peace. There are enemies who do not share this belief and seek to discredit Seymour and his cohorts. Through struggles, including a trial, Seymour and his companions succeed in bringing the concept of agape into the consciousness of all. The strength of this manuscript comes from the clear, simple, and image-filled language that the author employs to tell the story. The characters are well-developed, and each scene is vividly described, so that the reader feels as if he is experiencing the action himself. Dialogue amongst the characters is realistic, and the more science-fiction type aspects are clearly explained so that the reader can easily understand. Finally, the novel moves at an appropriate pace, and does not have any sections which seem slow or bogged down in detail or unnecessary description or dialogue.
